How do you style the tiny black gown for summer?

Since i had so much fun doing my Wardrobe Staple | The Blazer post I decided to make this a regular thing. I decided to include this area on my blog for those fashionistas on a budget like myself or anyone who might need a bit of inspiration on how to style certain pieces in your closet. I hope you'll enjoy these posts: )#) just like I will. This time I decided to pick the wow! so wonderful LBD which is imperative for me. I prefer my LBD to be simple but not boring, it's all about the cut and the fit for me. I tend to stay away from bodycon LBD's because depending on where I want to wear it to, it might be a little bit too sexy. But a skater LBD like the one below is perfect, since it is not super short it is appropriate for any occasion. In addition, a skater gown adds to almost any figure. So if you're considering splurging on one, do it; just remember to pick one that is easy but not boring. It needs to be versatile enough so you can take it wherever you need to: )#)

I flew back to Dublin to take my favourite Little Black Jeans on a journey around my favourite city… Really, I love this idea, it feels newer and more ‘me’ to wear the tiny black jean over the little black gown. And J Brand, who do the best skinnies known to man, have teamed up with Selfridges to do a special edition of the #littleblackjean. It’s even got a gold plated button!! I’ll be in Selfridges this Weekend from 2-3 helping everyone and anyone style their cheap little black gownes, although as you can tell from the fashion ninja character below you can style them any which way you like…. But if you’re stuck for inspiration I should make an effort to promote and I promise we’ll have fun in the photobooth!! The best bit is you can win your own abundant pair so transfer fakes of yourself in your favourite black jeans look and the picture with the most ‘likes’ will dsicover a pair of J Brands whizzed to them overnight! I should then be choosing a standard winner who will get some gold-plated, silk-bagged extra special jeans!!
